We are a full-service intellectual property law firm located in Cologne, Germany, representing domestic and foreign clients on all continents of the globe in the field of invention, in particular patents, trademarks, utility models and designs as well as the prosecution, enforcement, defence and licencing thereof. The firm was founded in 1947 and its 50 plus years of international representation have engendered excellent business relationships with colleagues and companies throughout the world.

Presently the firm has fifteen partners.�All of the partners of our firm are qualified German and European Patent Attorneys and are admitted to the European Community Trademark Office, Alicante (OHIM). Each partner handles all facets of intellectual property practice, including patent matters, trademarks, Gebrauchsmuster (utility models), design patents, plant (species) protection, topography law, and software protection. This entails drafting, filing, prosecution, opposition practice, appeals, infringement suits (litigation), licensing, as well as client counseling.�

Each partner is personally responsible and intimately involved with client cases. Partners are involved with the cases from drafting, filing and examination through the opposition-appeal phase.
