My INTA Experience, Berlin 2008
Posted by: Zeev Fisher in INTA receptions, INTA on May 22, 2008
My third INTA conference is over, and I wanted to share some of my impressions from this always-amazing experience.
As some of you may know, Relatip.com is a partnership of Appelfeld Zer Fisher, an Israeli Patent and Trademark attorneys firm, and Intuision, a startup company which specializes in developing social networking applications. I am one of the partners of Appelfeld Zer Fisher (AZF).
So I went to INTA this year with a few goals:
1. The "historical" purpose - to promote my firm (AZF).
2. To get as many new users to Relatip.com, which was officially launched just one
month ago. For this purpose, we also took a booth at the exhibition.
3. To create good business connections.
4. Most importantly - to have fun!
After a crazy week, I can say that all of the goals have been well accompished:
1. I met a lot of people, some of them will become very good friends.
2. More than 700 people left their business cards for us to register them to Relatip (of course, they will have to confirm such registration with an email sent to them).
3. We made wonderful business connections. Special thanks for Jacob Tomkins from trademark world who did everything he could to help, and to Ed Lehman of the famous Lehman, Lee and Xu, for his warm wishes to relatip's users.
4. I had the best time of my life. Specific receptions I enjoyed the most were SD Petrosevic's Gypsy party, Lehman's, CT Cosearch's, and Thomson's (as always). I haven't gone to CPA's but I heard it was great too. But more than the receptions I enjoyed meeting amazing people, which I will surely remember until next INTA!
Another thing that I am very proud of is that we managed to shoot many videos of booth's and receptions (and even one French attorneys-Brazilian Attorneys soccer game) which will all be uploaded to the site in the next few days.
To conclude - an amazing experience, as it is every year.
And how was your experience?

It was my first INTA. A colleague from England told me to go to INTA, but i didn´t know, what to expect. Just workshops? Hard business staff? But these days in Berlin were unbelievable: I met a lot of wonderful people at a lot of different receptions and some of them became wonderful friends, that i don´t want to miss anymore. I am looking forward to see them in Seattle again.
In addition to that: When i was at the reception of Cobbetts in Adlon Hotel, at the same time the Dalai Lama came into the hotel. That shall bing good luck, i´ve heard.
Maybe that´s right: The mailbox full of work expected me after the conference...
Good luck furthermore with the projekt relatip and maybe we meet us at the next INTA.
