Australia has been removed from the Israeli 17c list

Israeli Patent Law Clause 17c facilitates quick acceptance of an Israeli Patent on the basis of a similar patent issued in one of several patent offices. The Australian Patent Office has been newly removed from this list, which currently includes: US, Canada, Japan, Russian Federation, EPO, Germany, UK, , Norway, Sweden, Austria and Denmark.

A new service launched by UK-IPO

The U.K intellectual property office has launched a new service that allows downloading of certified copies of patent applications on their day of publication. All patents published from 1 January will be available for downloading. The service also provides recent updates regarding late declarations of priority.
