I wanted to write a few words about my experience from INTA Berlin.

First and foremost I will mention that I am one of the owners of Relatip.com and hence a great believer in networking. Now that this is out of the way, I can write about my own personal experience.

Thinking back at the hectic week that went by (being an exhibitor as well as promoting my firm), I remeber the few exquisite moments that I had shared with friends and colleagues, the wonderful small receptions that I could actually develop a (more than five minutes) conversation and even the table topics which, although socially forced in some way and a kind of a blind (professional) date - ofers a real chance to communicate and create a professional and meaningful discussion.

This is not to say that the larger scale events are

My third INTA conference is over, and I wanted to share some of my impressions from this always-amazing experience.

As some of you may know, Relatip.com is a partnership of Appelfeld Zer Fisher, an Israeli Patent and Trademark attorneys firm, and Intuision, a startup company which specializes in developing social networking applications. I am one of the partners of Appelfeld Zer Fisher (AZF).

So I went to INTA this year with a few goals:

1. The "historical" purpose - to promote my firm (AZF).
2. To get as many new users to Relatip.com, which was officially launched just one
month ago. For this purpose, we also took a booth at the exhibition.
3. To create good business connections.
4. Most importantly - to have fun!

After a crazy week, I can say that all of the goals have been well

Intellectual Property law is probably the most "international" field of law in the world. It requires that the practicing attorneys to be able to provide their clients counsel on various jurisdictions, and therefore, demands close and tight relationships with non-domestic associates.

I think it is one of the things that make IP one of the greatest specialties for attorneys. From time to time it is just great to leave the regular work and meet with friends on a good coctail reception.

Which are the international organizations that an IP practitioner should consider joining if he is looking ? There are many, and I assume anyone has his own taste. I will name a few, and you are welcome to comment and suggest others.
