Malaysia has NO copyright registration system and copyrighted works are NOT required to be registered. However, a Statutoy Declaration under Section 42 of the Copyright Act 1987 is usually to be deposed by the owner as prima facie proof of its ownership in the copyrighted works before a court proceedings.
