I have a full schedule of receptions for Tuesday afternoon and evening - Miller Thompson, Soei, Lindenpartners, Gohrmann, Thomson/CompuMark - that will take me from 4pm to close to 4am if I can keep going. Most of the receptions are effectively open to anyone: I know of only a handful of firms who limit their events to invitees. Usually the purpose of the exercise is to collect business cards - it's a quantity thing, not quality! So I suggest you find a friend who's doing a few parties, and hitch a ride - and if appropriate, adopt a new friend at one of the parties you get in to - I don't think there's any reason why an INTA delegate should find themselves without a party to go to! One year I got talking to a complete stranger at lunchtime and he immediately invited me to his firm's lunch party, just across the road: and he let me bring a colleague along too.
