The 2008 Eastern Region Meeting will be held in Boston, and will appropriately focus on the changing climate for proactive industry friendly business development in technology transfer. In addition to our regular program on evaluation, marketing, licensing and industry collaborations, the meeting will include a plenary session and networking time with Venture Capital. Boston is a hub for companies based on university technology and/or companies collaborating with universities, and we are expecting a greater than normal participation from our industry partners. The AUTM Eastern Region plans to offer continuing legal education (CLE) credit for attorneys. The number of credit hours to be offered will be based on final meeting program content.
